This course offers students an intensive course to develop the
English language and business skills needed to work and do business
in English speaking environments.
The focus will be to:
- Develop the students' general English language proficiency;
- Develop specific language skills focused on commerce and business
in the global context;
- Train participants in the correct business protocols for operating
in the global business community;
- AND, To prepare students for undertaking work experience/internships
in Australia or assist them in preparing for their future careers
in their home countries
The course will combine a core session in Business English Language
Skills Training each day with specialist sessions across a wide
variety of business areas including Banking and Finance, Marketing,
Human Resource Management, Business Planning, Accounting and Legal
Considerations, Corporate Governance, Negotiation Skills and Research
and Presentation Skills, etc.

The English classes will be delivered by highly
qualified and experienced English language teachers while
the Business training sessions will be delivered by specialist
trainers and guest lecturers from the relevant sectors of
industry.

Also included are some site visits within the key industry sectors
of interest to the participants.
