Students can study English for any length of time and then undertake
a professional Internship with an Australian company.
|
The internship must relate to the student's
previous field of study or work and can be done in any city
in Australia.
The student requires a sound level of English
before commencing the internship and the internship will provide
monitored training within the workplace for the student.

Students can undertake the English and Internship programme on
a Student Visa (change to a special programme visa required once
English is finished); Working Holiday Visa or Special Programme
Visa.
Features of an English and Professional Internship program:
- Internships are a structured training & development program
within a company.
- Internships are available in a wide range of fields - Accounting,
Ages Care and Child Care, Agriculture, Arts, Banking & Finance,
Education, Engineering, Environmental Science, Forestry, Government,
Graphic Design, Health, Hospitality and Tourism, Information Technology,
Law & Politics, Linguistics, Sales and Marketing, Media and
Journalism, Marine Science, Photography, Retail, Sociology, Sport,
Telecommunications... plus many more.
- Field of placement must relate to the student's current field
of study or work.
- Internships are unpaid and can range in length from one month
to one year.
- Students need IH Intermediate English or IELTS 5.0 to undertake
an internship (IH can provide a pre-test for students and agents).
