| The Cambridge
Examination Preparation Courses are Long Term (10 to 12
weeks) Courses offered at IHQLD Cairns and Brisbane Campuses.

IHQLD Cairns is accredited by the Cambridge Examination Board and
is the local examination sub-centre. This means you take the exam
in the Cairns College. In Brisbane, we will direct you to the local
examination centre.
We offer expert and specialised preparation courses for the following
exams:
- First Certificate in English (FCE);
- Certificate in Advanced English (CAE);
- Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE).
The courses will improve your level of general English and deal
with the special skills and techniques you will require for the
exam.
Combination Course
Cairns/Brisbane courses - 6 weeks in each destination. Please note
the choice of which campus comes first will be made by the school.

Special Criteria
Students wishing to apply for these courses will be required
to complete a written test prior to being accepted. The test
may be obtained from IHQLD and will be sent with notification
of provisional acceptance. It must be completed under exam
conditions, and returned as quickly as possible. This is essential
to ensure that you are ready for the exam.
